PCN 308 Week 8 CLC: Group Assessment of Video

This is a Collaborative Learning Community assignment.

Select a video in which group behavior is demonstrated. Using the Groups Table Template, select the appropriate type of group that the video demonstrated and fill in the appropriate columns.

Explain the process of the video selection and summarize your findings in a paper of 250-500 words.

Develop a sociogram to evaluate the activity of your chosen group. Look for those who are:

  1. Most active.

  2. Ignored (neither rejected nor spoken to)

  3. Isolated (inactive and not encouraged to participate)

  4. Reciprocal

  5. Cliques

  6. Rejected (not spoken to by anyone)

  7. Influential (supported by the most active)

Select a CLC member to submit the group video observation project and the sociogram.

APA format is required for essays only. Solid academic writing is always expected. For all assignment delivery options, documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
