Dining etiquette is so important when meeting socially or for business purposes in other countries. You must know what is considered acceptable or unacceptable mannerisms.

An American traveler should know in advance some of the appropriate behaviors when dining in various foreign places.  As an example in Spain it is acceptable for a person eating at a snack bar to throw their leftovers and debris right onto the floor.  This, of course is completely unacceptable in America...
