Jury nullification allows a jury to acquit even of all evidence points to the defendant being guilty. This idea to allow jury nullification started when citizens wanted to play a more active role and this allowed them to do so. The ethnicity of the person does not change the court proceedings and laws; however, juries have a huge deciding factor. A jury can make all the difference in guilt or innocence.
